ACT No. 14430/2024 – UPDATE OF TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION OF ACCESS TERMINAL STATION AND CELLULAR MOBILE TELEPHONE.
In a significant update for the telecommunications sector, the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) released, on October 7, 2024, Act No. 14430. This document establishes that as of April 6, 2025, new equipment that has 2G or 3G, must also be compatible with 4G or higher technologies to be eligible for certification.
